LSB Experience

Bussum, Netherlands

The LSB Experience was founded in 2010 by singers/guitar players Marcel Luntungan, Hans Sligter and Sjoerd van den Broek. Important musical inspirations were the American West Coast Sound, with representatives such as Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Eagles, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell and Carol King and other classic rock bands such as The Beatles, The Doobie Brothers and Fleetwood Mac.

Songs of these artists still make up a significant part of LSB’s repertoire. Right from the start it was clear that the organic blend of the three voices was special and this would become their main selling point.

In addition to performing as an acoustic trio The LSB Experience soon also started playing as a full size acoustic/electric band, complemented with Peter Deiman and Rob Hendriks on drums and bass. In 2023 Andy Nijmeijer joined on keyboards, effectively making LSB a six piece band.

The LSB Experience released five albums, of which their second was a full original, recorded In Cincinnati (USA) in 2014 and the two most recent ones tributes to their heroes The Beatles and CSN&Y, who were also the subjects of their two latest theater show productions.

During the last 14 years The LSB Experience performed and toured extensively, both in their home country The Netherlands as well as in other European countries, the UK and the USA.

Since 2012 the band has been a regular guest at the famous Abbey Road on the River Festival, performing in Louisville, Washington DC and Jeffersonville.
