Paulie Felice
Paulie Felice is an American guitarist, teacher, singer, songwriter and producer. A full-time professional musician since 2008, he has played as a member of multiple active bands, including AROTR alumni Steve Sizemore Group (2011 - 2013) and later with Mallory Lennon and the Sykadelix (2015). A frequent “hired-gun,” he’s shared the stage with dozens of incredible musicians, including Jefferson Starship, Chase Rice, JD Crowe, JP Pennington (Exile) Laura McGhee, 7 Mary 3, Livia Faith (The Voice), Semple, Scott Said and the Backroads, and others.
As a collaborator for a number of skilled and successful singer/songwriters he’s appeared on the world-famous Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour and recorded in studio with Jim Peterik (Ides of March, Survivor, Pride of Lions, and writing for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackhawk, Cheap Trick, Sammy Hagar ("Heavy Metal"), Cathy Richardson, Dennis DeYoung, Van Zant, Brian Wilson, REO Speedwagon, and The Beach Boys) as well as Steve Eisen and Scott May (Ides of March).
He also currently plays as The Paulie Guitar Show, an acoustic, audience-interactive musical entertainment event.
As a guitar instructor he is a 3-time recipient of the annual Lexington Music Award’s “Jay Flippin Music Educator Award” and is a six-time nominee. Paulie is a certified Senior Instructor with the SDML Academy of Guitar (founded by David McLean in 1999) and he has guided hundreds of players to reach and exceed their own goals as players, but also as professionals in the music industry. In 2016 he was appointed Program Director of the Academy as well, and coordinates events, instructors and materials.
Born in Lexington, KY, he has lived in Philadelphia PA, Orlando FL and Chicago, and now resides in Shelbyville KY.
